Kibale National Park

Day 1

Arrival at Entebbe Airport

A Safaris Unmasked representative will meet & greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Your stay will include bed and breakfast.

Day 2

Entebbe to Kibale National Park

After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, check out and embark on a scenic journey through Kampala, Mityana, and Kyajonjo. Pack a picnic lunch to enjoy during the drive as you explore remote villages and soak in the authentic Ugandan countryside. Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon, ready to unwind and immerse yourself in the local culture. Dinner will be served at your Lodge.

Day 3

Explore Kibale's Primate Paradise and Wetland Wonders

Today, embark on a thrilling adventure into the heart of Kibale National Park, renowned for its diverse primate population. Tread through the dense rainforest, tracking the playful and intelligent chimpanzees as they swing through the canopy. Keep your eyes peeled for other fascinating primates, such as the red-tailed guenons, colobus monkeys, and the elusive L'Hoest's monkeys. As the day progresses, immerse yourself in the unique ecosystem of Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. Join a guided swamp walk, navigating through the labyrinth of papyrus reeds and encountering a variety of birdlife, including the iconic shoebill. Discover the delicate balance of this wetland environment and gain insights into its ecological importance. All Meals served at your lodge.

Day 4

Equator Encounter and Wildlife Wonders

After a nourishing breakfast, embark on a scenic journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, traversing through the charming towns of Fort Portal and Kasese. Along the way, make an intriguing stop at the Equator point. Witness a captivating demonstration of the unique phenomena that occur at this geographical marvel and capture unforgettable memories with photographs. Continue your adventure towards your lodge, arriving in time for a leisurely lunch. In the afternoon, at 2:00 PM, embark on a serene boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. As the day draws to a close, embark on a late afternoon game drive en route to your lodge. Immerse yourself in the thrilling safari experience, keeping an eye out for the park's abundant wildlife as you traverse through its diverse habitats.

Day 5

From Savannah to Rainforest: A Scenic Drive to Bwindi

After a hearty breakfast, you'll embark on a scenic drive through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Keep your eyes peeled for the park's famous tree-climbing lions, as well as other fascinating wildlife that may cross your path. As you journey deeper into the Ugandan countryside, you'll witness the landscape transform from open savannah to lush rainforest. Your destination is the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its dense vegetation and remarkable population of mountain gorillas. Arrive at your comfortable lodge in time for a well-deserved lunch, where you can savor delicious local cuisine and relax in the tranquil surroundings. The rest of the afternoon is yours to unwind and explore the lodge's facilities or simply soak in the serene atmosphere of this natural paradise.

Day 6

Gorilla Trekking Adventure

After a nourishing breakfast at your lodge, prepare for an unforgettable experience. A short transfer will take you to the Bwindi National Park headquarters, where you'll meet your skilled local guides, rangers, and trackers. They'll provide essential information about gorilla trekking etiquette, ensuring you have a safe and respectful encounter. Armed with your packed lunch, you'll embark on a thrilling hike into the dense forest. The journey may be challenging, but the reward is immeasurable. As you navigate through the lush undergrowth, keep your eyes peeled for the signs of gorillas. Day 7

Farewell to the Pearl of Africa

After a nourishing breakfast, prepare for your final adventure: a scenic flight back to Entebbe. Transfer to Kihihi Airstrip and board your Aerolink flight at 9:45 AM. Enjoy the breathtaking aerial views as you soar above Uganda's landscapes. Arrive in Entebbe at 11:25 AM, ready to embark on your onward journey.
