Day 1

Arrival at Entebbe Airport

A Safaris Unmasked representative will meet & greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Your stay will include bed and breakfast.

Day 2

Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park

Start your day with a leisurely breakfast at your hotel in Kampala. At 7:00 AM, you'll be picked up by your Safaris Unmasked safari driver-guide and embark on a journey through the Ugandan countryside. The route will take you through remote villages, offering a glimpse into local life. Your first stop will be at the Ziwa White Rhino Ranch, where you'll have the unique opportunity to track white rhinos on foot. This is a thrilling experience that allows you to get up close and personal with these magnificent creatures. After your rhino encounter, you'll enjoy lunch at the Masindi Hotel. Then, continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, arriving at your hotel in the evening.

Day 3

Another Day in the Park!

Start your day with an exhilarating early morning game drive along the northern bank of the Nile River. Keep your eyes peeled for a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, Cape Buffalos, Rothschild Giraffes, Hartebeests, Oribis, Bushbucks, Bohor Reedbucks, spotted hyenas, and even the elusive leopard. After a thrilling safari, return to your lodge for a hearty breakfast. Spend the rest of the morning relaxing and enjoying the lodge's amenities. In the afternoon, embark on a captivating boat cruise upstream to the "bottom of the falls." As you approach the base of the falls, the Nile River becomes calm and tranquil. Stop a few meters from the "Devil's Cauldron," where the water compresses 47 meters to squeeze through a 6-meter canyon, cascading 40 meters with a thunderous roar. Keep an eye out for hippos and crocodiles that frequent this area. As you cruise back, admire the diverse birdlife, including Goliath herons, pelicans, bee-eaters, kingfishers, hornbills, cormorants, and the rare shoebill stork.

Day 4

A Scenic Drive to Kibale Forest Reserve

Embark on a picturesque journey to Kibale Forest Reserve, traversing the breathtaking Albertine Western Rift Valley. The route takes us through the vibrant towns of Masindi, Hoima, and Fort Portal, offering a glimpse into the local culture and way of life. As we wind our way through the lush countryside, we'll make a few stops to admire the stunning landscapes, traditional homesteads, and thriving farms. Enjoy a delicious packed lunch as we continue our adventure, arriving at our comfortable lodge in the early afternoon, ready to relax and unwind.

Day 5

Primate Adventure and Swamp Walk

Today, embark on a thrilling journey into the heart of the forest to encounter the playful and intelligent chimpanzees. Keep your eyes peeled for other fascinating primates that may also call this lush habitat home. In the afternoon, venture to the Bigodi area for a unique and immersive swamp walk, where you'll discover a diverse array of plant life and perhaps even spot some elusive wildlife.

Day 6

Equatorial Exploration and Wildlife Encounter

After a nourishing breakfast, embark on a scenic journey towards Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through the vibrant towns of Fort Portal and Kasese. Along the way, we'll make a captivating stop at the Equator point. Witness a fascinating demonstration of the unique physical phenomena that occur at this precise latitude and capture unforgettable memories with photographs. Continuing our adventure, we'll arrive at your comfortable lodge, just in time to savor a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, at approximately 2:00 PM, we'll embark on a thrilling boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Glide through the serene waters, marveling at the diverse wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. As the day winds down, we'll venture on a late afternoon game drive, immersing ourselves in the park's rich biodiversity before returning to the lodge for a well-deserved rest.

Day 7

Early Morning Safari and Boat Cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Embark on an unforgettable early morning game drive in the Kasenyi area of Queen Elizabeth National Park. As the sun begins to rise, witness the breathtaking beauty of the African savannah as you explore this wildlife-rich region. Keep your eyes peeled for majestic lions, powerful buffalos, and gentle elephants, as well as large herds of Uganda kobs and other fascinating antelopes. Exploring the Heart of Bwindi: A Day of Wildlife and Relaxation

Embark on a captivating journey into the depths of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, renowned for its extraordinary biodiversity. After a nourishing breakfast, you'll venture through the scenic Ishasha sector, where you might encounter the unique tree-climbing lions. Arrive at your comfortable lodge, nestled amidst the lush rainforest, and savor a delicious lunch. The remainder of the afternoon is yours to unwind and immerse yourself in the tranquility of your surroundings, perhaps taking a leisurely stroll or simply basking in the serene atmosphere.

Day 10

Gorilla Trekking Adventure

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at your lodge, followed by a brief transfer to the Bwindi National Park headquarters. Here, you'll meet your experienced local guides and trackers, who will provide valuable insights into gorilla trekking etiquette. Equipped with your packed lunch, you'll embark on a thrilling hike into the lush rainforest. As you venture deeper, keep your eyes peeled for the elusive mountain gorillas, an unforgettable encounter that will leave you in awe. After a day of adventure, return to camp to relax and unwind.

Day 11

Scenic Drive to Lake Mburo National Park

After a hearty breakfast, embark on a scenic drive through the picturesque Kigezi Mountains. Enjoy breathtaking views and make stops along the way to capture the beauty of the landscape. Savor a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Mbarara before continuing your journey to Lake Mburo National Park. Arrive at your lodge late in the afternoon and enjoy a short game drive to get a glimpse of the park's wildlife.

Day 12

Departure on Adventure and Exploration

Your day will begin with an exhilarating early morning game drive, immersing yourself in the wild beauty of the African savanna. After a thrilling encounter with the local wildlife, you'll return to the lodge for a refreshing breakfast. Then, embark on a scenic journey back to Entebbe, making a memorable stop at the Equator. This unique opportunity will allow you to experience the fascinating phenomena that occur at this geographical landmark. Finally, we'll drop you off at the airport, ensuring a smooth and timely departure for your homeward flight.
